The Maritime Sustainment Technology and Innovation Consortium (MSTIC) is focused on innovative sustainment solutions
to effectively address current and future security threats in maritime environments.

MSTIC engages industry and academia to develop and mature technologies in the field of Maritime Sustainment that enhance the Navy’s mission effectiveness.

MSTIC offers federally-funded research and business opportunities for small and
large businesses, for-profit and not-for-profit entities, and academic organizations.

MSTIC enables rapid research, access to innovative commercial solutions for
defense requirements, and innovations from industry, academia and nontraditionals.

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) established the Maritime Sustainment Technology and Innovation Consortium (MSTIC) to focus on innovative sustainment solutions that effectively address current and future security threats in maritime environments. Members have access to opportunities focused on developing and maturing technologies in the field of Maritime Sustainment that enhance the Navy’s mission effectiveness.

WHO CAN JOIN
Companies that are part of the U.S. Defense Industrial Base as well as new and emerging non-traditional defense contractors are encouraged to join the MSTIC and participate in federally-funded R&D projects.
